The event went very well apart from Matt being forced to cancel, attendance was good and there were excellent performances from Joe Banks/Disinformation and Ampersand. Paul Adams played a short improvisation piece as an interlude between performers. Many Thanks go out to Joe and all the guys in Ampersand who made the evening a real success. There will be some video footage of the performances posted soon.
Matt Wright and Paul Adams were featured on the Dominic King Show on Radio Kent on 30th January. The content was more focused on the Sonic Arts course which Matt is planning to run but it was good to get some exposure for what we do…

The third Open Ear event “Memory” went very well featuring a great new performance from Janek Schaefer. Bob Levene from the “Automated Noise Ensemble” played recordings of cymbals engraved onto cymbals via a turntable along with another group piece on prepared turntables.
